The TFit Foundation, together with Transformation Fitness Studio and its supporters, has completed another major community initiative by donating commercial-grade fitness equipment to two Staten Island FDNY firehouses.

The donation marks the foundation’s seventh and eighth fitness equipment donations, made possible through a recent fundraiser supported by members, donors, volunteers, and the local community.

The equipment was delivered to FDNY Engine 166/Ladder 86 and FDNY Engine 160/Rescue 5, providing firefighters with upgraded resources to help maintain their health and physical readiness while serving the community.

Supporting Staten Island’s First Responders

The TFit Foundation said the project reflects its ongoing mission to improve health, wellness, and quality of life through inclusive fitness and community initiatives.

The organization also thanked its members, volunteers, donors, and supporters for making the donations possible.

Special recognition was given to New York State Assemblyman Charles Fall for his continued support of community initiatives, along with the firefighters of Engine 166/Ladder 86 and Engine 160/Rescue 5 for welcoming the team during the equipment deliveries.

TFit Foundation also acknowledged Staten Island Neighbors for helping share the initiative and expand its reach throughout the community.

As firefighters face physically demanding conditions every day, access to quality fitness equipment helps them maintain the strength, endurance, and conditioning needed to safely perform their duties.

Community partnerships like this continue to demonstrate how local businesses, nonprofit organizations, elected officials, and volunteers can work together to invest in Staten Island’s first responders.
